Hey everyone,

New to the boards, but I wanted to drop in and let you know who I am an why I am endorsing this download.

My name is Gary Ugarek and I am the films writer and director. I spent over a year shooting this film working weekends only with a cast and crew of non paid actors. Being a huge zombie film fan and having the actual luck to play on in Romero's Land of the Dead made me want to go out and make a zombie flick.

Originally not exactly happy with the film being offered up for download I spent the first few days DMCA-ing all the links I could find, but I had change of heart in the last 24 hours. I decided to let the downloads go through... What sold me on the idea?... Because it was the downloads that spread the film out wider than the distributor did upon its initial release in October of 2009.

So from this point forward accept my invitation to check out the flick, and if you like it and end up adding it to your collection... Thank you, if not... At least accept my thanks for giving it a look. It is a very low budget film, but budget aside it was a fun flick to make.

Those curious... you do not need to see Deadlands 1 to see Deadlands 2, the film is a complete reboot. So enjoy.

SYNOPSIS:

Deadlands 2: Trapped is the 2008 follow up to the 2006 low budget indie, Deadlands: The Rising. Budgeted at $6,000.00, Deadlands 2: Trapped follows 6 strangers taking refuge inside a movie theater cineplex on the night the US Government tests a brand new yet highly contagious bio-weapon that turns the towns residents into flesh hungry blood crazed killers.

This film is a low budget tribute to the great zombie films, Night of the Living Dead (1968) and The Return of the Living Dead (1985), with a splash of Lamberto Bava's DEMONS (1985).
